Liam O’Riordan and Eugene Furlong met with Anne-Marie Kenneally, Midleton’s Librarian, at Midleton Library. We were asked if we could put an exhibition together about Edward Bransfield for Heritage Week on behalf of Cork County Council. We jumped at the opportunity which resulted with our first, very successful presentation and exhibition launched on the 25th August 2017 entitled ‘Remembering Edward Bransfield’ by the committee.
